Hello 2010

El pasar de milenio fue un tormento para los que estudiamos ingles ya que se modificaba la forma de decir el año. Pero el otro día investigando sobre Escocia descubrí que otra vez podemos decir el año como en antaño.

Ej.: 2009 es Two thousand and nine pero ahora 2010 es Twenty ten.

Pero ... aquí vemos que la cosa no está clara.

We’re now 10 days in to 2010. What do you call this new year? Do you follow the suggestion of the National Association of Good Grammar and call it “Twenty-Ten,” or are you loyal to the past few years and refer to it as “Two Thousand and Ten”?
